BASIC DRAWING TECHNIQUES

WHEN PENCIL DRAWING

It is important to have a strategy to avoid smearing.

THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS TO PREVENT THIS:

1. Use piece of paper as a blotter
2. Hold the wrist above the drawing while drawing
3. Wear computer tablet gloves
4. With charcoal sticks or charcoal pencils use "Fixative"
5. Draw from the center of the page
