COLORS AND HOW TO USE THEM TO CREATE IMPACT AND AESTHETICS

    WHEN WE THINK OF COLOR IN ART, WE DON'T HAVE AS MUCH CHOICE AS ONE MIGHT THINK. This is because not all colors fit together well.

    Discordant color, colors that clash with each other & colors that are not different enough to tell them apart are problems that require a color strategy and a lot of knowledge. However, fortunately nature provides a color scheme we can use as a guide.

    But all too often that does not work on paper or canvas. It is up to the artist to use color to compensate for this.

THERE ARE THREE MAIN COLOR SCHEMES OUT THERE

1. PRIMARY & SECONDARY COLORS

2. CYMK which stands for (C)-CYAN , (Y)-YELLOW, (M)-MAGENTA , (K)-& the last letter of black. It is often used in printing

3. RGB (red, green, blue) Which is most often what a computer uses, usually in the form of what is called HEX CODE OR UNICODE.
