IN THE MODERN WORLD WITH IMAGE MANIPULATION AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, IT IS ALMOST IMPERATIVE TO USE IT
WE TEND TO THINK AI IS NEW, BUT:WHAT ABOUT ROBBY THE ROBOT IN THE 1956 MOVIE "FORBIDDEN PLANET" (Albeit by a human's voice)
I THINK NOT: We need to use it when we need to. In the late 1970's I spent many a night developing and printing silver halide photographic film. Back then the cost was gut wrenching. One could bracket an image with a dozen different exposures and spend all night developing it and get no usable images. But, today in a few hours I can take a picture with my 4 lens cell phone camera better than I could in the early 1980's with a Nikon FE2 camera with 3 NIKKOR, lenses & a Bogen tripod that cost over 1,500.00 U.S. dollars and fix bloopers in a few hours at no cost. Yes I still bracket Images by locking the auto focus on lighter and darker areas. It is an old habit that allowed me to be displayed in international Monochrome competition twice.
One technique is to draw an image and use a computer draw program such as GIMP [available (for FREE) @ GIMP.org] to invert the colors. HOW? After GIMP is INSTALLED on WINDOWS, SUSE Linux, or Ubuntu Linux Open the App and open an image. Select -> [Colors] then select -> [Invert]. "It's that simple!"
