SHADED SKETCH DRAWING EXAMPLES

A sketch is usually a quick rough drawing often used as a preliminary drawing or study. However, sketches can be independent artworks used as finished drawings.

A SKETCH or STUDY is the best way to get an idea of what one wants to draw or paint. The up side of sketching is that it is usually a cost free way to get an idea of what a finished art piece will look like.

THE DOWN SIDE is that a sketch is usually monochrome (A single color in different shades) or Black & White which is a color pallet including only black and white & shades of gray.

Unfortunately; however, A finished color painting or drawing may not look as good as the sketch.
